Jean Woods is the Education Chairperson for the North Carolina Native Plant Society and a board member of the Catawba Lands Conservancy where she is chair of the Stewardship Committee. She leads native plant walks for both organizations. Jean is also a member of the Stewardship Advisory Council for Mecklenburg Parks and Rec and teaches the PLANTS class for Solid Waste of Mecklenburg. In addition, she is an enthusiastic gardener and a lover of nature.
