Bob is a solar energy investor and enthusiast. A native Charlottean, Bob helped found Standard Solar, Inc. – the largest solar energy system installation company in the Washington, DC/MD area. Now he is an investor in Argand Energy in based in Charlotte. Bob has a 2.5 kW grid tied solar PV system on his Myers Park home. When not promoting solar energy, Bob is a corporate training consultant and part time air charter pilot who soloed at the age of 17.
