David is President of Rainwater Management System (RMS), which was formed in 1998 in Salem, Virginia to address rainwater conservation and management and sustainable water applications. He works closely with German rainwater harvesting experts and upholds the German standards in all RMS’s designs.
David is also active in outreach programs. He works with the non-profit, the Cabell Brand Center, to disseminate rainwater harvesting educational information and recently assisted with the Virginia Rainwater Harvesting Manual, which was funded by the Virginia Environmental Endowment. He also serves on the Virginia Soil and Water Conservation Board’s Technical Advisory Committee to address MS4 amendments.
