Mary Bures is a Certified Habitat Steward with the National Wildlife Federation and a member of HAWK (Habitat and Wildlife Keepers), a chapter of the NC Wildlife Federation. Mary graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture. Her experience includes owning and operating her own landscape design and installation company in Florida for six years. She has always been passionate about helping people to better see and understand all living things and their interdependency because it is when one truly understands that they will better appreciate, value and care for all life.

Leslie Wieser is a Certified Habitat Steward with the National Wildlife Federation and a member of HAWK (Habitat and Wildlife Keepers), a chapter of the NC Wildlife Federation. Habitat Stewards work to create and enhance habitats for wildlife in their communities. Her experience volunteering with the Carolina Raptor Center, Carolina Waterfowl Rescue and Companion Parrots Re-homed has given her a strong desire to provide and protect viable habitats for wildlife.
