June has been the Executive Director of Clean Air the Carolina (CAC) since November of 2005. She brings over 30 years of experience working with nonprofit and community based organizations in North Carolina to her job at CAC.

As the first paid staff member of this environmental/public health organization, she manages a wide range of educational and advocacy initiatives aimed at restoring clean and healthy air to the Central Carolinas region. These include a statewide diesel campaign intended to reduce diesel emissions from trucks, construction vehicles and buses and a clean energy campaign promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy over reliance on fossil fuels.

CAC established a Medical Advisory Team in 2007 to involve medical professionals in clean air efforts and utilize their expertise in raising awareness about the link between clean air and health.

June holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Adult Education from Appalachian University. She is the mother of David, age 20 and Liz, age 15 and is married to Doug Sea, an attorney with Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont.
