Mike Barcik
Director of Technical Services, LEED AP

Mike Barcik is a senior research engineer and the Director of Technical Services at Southface. His areas of expertise include energy performance modeling, design reviews and building diagnostics. A graduate from Georgia Tech with a bachelors and masters degree in mechanical engineering, he has conducted research in high-efficiency mechanical systems and has led hundreds of workshops and charrettes on high-performance residential and commercial buildings. He is a member of the State of Georgia Energy Code Task Force, ASHRAE member, a LEED Accredited Professional, a USGBC LEED for Homes Faculty member and a USGBC LEED - NC Faculty member.
