The Charlotte Clean and Green committee needs your help. We are looking for volunteers for the event to be held on Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, 2008 on the Central Campus of Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.
If you are interested in volunteering for Charlotte Clean and Green please sign up for one or more sessions. You will be contacted by one of the volunteer coordinators as to your specific job closer to the event date and we will hold Volunteer Trainings to familiarize you with the CPCC Campus and what you will be doing. Due to the number of volunteers needed we are unable to take specific requests for volunteer jobs. Possible volunteer duties you will be involved with are listed below.
Friday duties will include: Greeters/ info for sponsors/exhibitors, exhibit set-up helpers. Saturday duties will include: exhibit helpers, greeters, traffic control, class assistants, welcome table, clean-up, load-out.
Charlotte Clean and Green promises to be a fun, educational event and you can help make it happen. Be a part of history. Help make Charlotte’s inaugural green event a huge success!
All volunteers receive:
- free lunch (sustainable, locally grown Bar-B-Que or Veggie burger)
- free Charlotte Clean and Green organic T-Shirt
- a chance to meet some really good people dedicated to greening our city
